HOW LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORKS
Laser hair removal targets the root and blood supply of the hair by emitting a singular colourless beam of light. The light is attracted to the pigment and blood supply in the hair follicle, then converts into heat which destroys and ablates the blood supply. Once we have successfully ablated the blood supply to the hair, the hair will no longer grow.
IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL SAFE?
With all procedures, there are risks involved. Our Dermal Therapists take every precaution prior to each treatment to ensure you are suitable and safe to proceed before each appointment.
Post-treatment you may experience some side effects, including localised redness, pigmentation, swelling of follicles, heat sensation and skin sensitivity. In some cases, folliculitis can occur. To ensure your safety, you must follow our pre and post-treatment care at all times and ensure you disclose all required information to our Dermal Therapists to ensure a safe treatment.
