What is a Skin Peel?

Chemical peels exfoliate old and dead skin cells and stimulate the regeneration of new skin cells. The renewed skin is then clearer, smoother and more even. To cater for all different skin types we can increase or decrease the intensity of the peel. They’re also one of the most affordable and effective ways to noticeably improve your skin.

How does it work?

Our skin naturally rejuvenates a new cell cycle every 28 days, but this process slows down as we age. Lots of internal and external factors can affect the way our skin functions. This is why we recommend a series and combination of different treatments and products. Glycolic, which is an AHA, exfoliates the dead skin cells that make our skin appear dull, rough and uneven. Immediately after the peel you will notice a brighter, smoother and more hydrated skin. We have so many options available such as Salicylic, lactic, mandelic, jessner and more.

Does it Hurt + are there any side effects?

No, Chemical peels are not painful and are a quick and effective treatment. Whilst the peel is activating you may feel an itching sensation. This subsides as the peel is complete and the skin is neutralised.
